I'm trying to sell my Kahr MK40. I ran an ad here on THR and didn't get much response, so I put it up on Gunbroker and still haven't got much response.

I'm asking $500 for it and a Talon Plus holster, is that too much? I remember MK40s used to be real hot commodities ... back when I got mine I had people offer to buy it when they found out I had it and they didn't last long on the auction sites.

The gunbroker ad comes to an end soon, I was planning on relisting it but I"m wondering if I should ask less. My other thought is to start the bidding at like $350 and put a reserve on it (but I hate reserve auctions so thats why I opted to just make my starting price what I would have set the reserve at).

For some reason the .40 cal Kahrs do not bring as much as the 9mm versions. I have seen brand new Kahr K-40s, MK-40s and Coverts selling for less than $400 new. I think you are asking more than the going rate for a used one.

Here is a Kahr K-40 Covert for $375 NEW! If I liked .40S&W, I would be all over this.

Zund, it is your pics....the pics you took make it look beaten.

they need a better angle for that type of finish...I am going to post an example of how two camera angles change the look of the finish of a gun.

Slightly different lighting, and slightly different angle make all the difference...One pic looks like a used gun pic, the other looks like a NIB glamour shot, yet they were taken about 4 seconds apart.
