Love it.

Depend on it.

I have the Glock 22 and the M&P40.

The M&P40 really improves on the design with ergonomics being the major advancement.

I have multiple M&P 40S&W pistols in use as my carry/HD sidearm. It's my preferred pistol platform at this point, with my P226/225s, CZs, 92Fs, and the like all largely relegated to the role of safe queen.

it's a good one. feels very good in your hand, accuracy and reliability is there. good price for a used one is about $400-$425.

See my sigline.

I like mine. A lot.

PS My Compact is being very mildly twitchy, but I haven't had enough of a chance to wring it out yet. The roundcount is still pretty low. The Fullsize is g2g.

I enjoyed mine. I traded it away to get out of .40 S&W, otherwise I would still have it. I am going to get an M&P9 soon.

I think it's the best of the plastic pistols.

I like mine very much. I traded a Glock 22 for it and couldn't be happier. Much better ergonomics...better grip, better sights. better chamber support, better trigger, Lifetime Warranty, and made in the USA.

You can get a lot of info on the at www.mp-pistol.com

shot a buddy's mp 40, and loved it. shot better than with any of the guns I'm used to. I ordered the M&P compact 9 for CCW.

I have owned one for a while and own a glock 31 for comparision. I think the M&P will own the market in 5 years. It is a lot more pistol for the price compared to glock or the XD. But it is also the newest and is working out a lot of bugs. One of the biggest things are they rust a lot easier then a glock.

i have yet to shoot one, but i find myself liking the trigger while dry firing, and the ergos are awesome, i like the interchangble backstraps that is an awesome addition to any gun.

Love it!!! I'm considering shipping it off to Dan Burwell for a basic trigger job when I get the money, but even right now, it's my favorite gun. I've had it almost a year, and the trigger grit is gone, it's comfortable, no rust, and no failures that haven't been my own reload QC. I've shot it in IDPA four times now and have never been disappointed with it. When I get my carry permit, this'll be it.

Like mine very much.
Fit's my hand quite nicely, and is more accurate than I am.
Can't ask for more.

I haven't seen one. I thought they were delayed until next spring (again!!!). I could be wrong. MP-Pistol.com would have the info on that.

I have a few poly guns in my stable already and I'm not really ready to add someone else's to the mix :scrutiny: So, I passed on the XD & so far will pass on the M&P

I tried out the M&P9, loved it right away and bought one. Over time, I continued to be impressed so I bought a M&PC40 to replace my P2000 as my carry gun.

I completely love it! I was shopping for a poly-gun under $600. I looked at Glock, XD, and M&P as the finals. I could not be happier with my decision. 2600 rounds through it without a single failure. It's my "do-everything" gun.

Great gun, lifetime warranty, accurate and comfortable to shoot.

I've put around 6k rounds through mine and the only issue I had was that around 500 rounds the mag release needed to be replaced. Sent it back to S&W at zero cost to me and about ten days later I got the gun back and haven't had an issue since.

Its very accurate and by far the smoothest shooting .40 I've ever fired. There is very little muzzle flip, points naturally, has interchangable backstraps and very attractive I think.

The trigger was a little scratchy at first but that cleared up nicely after a few hundred rounds. I use the my M&P40 as my designated ccw and its a gun I plan on holding on to for years to come.

Only about 500rounds in but I love it. Its my CCW choice. I do eventually want Crimson Trace grips for it.
