Okay! I've had it with Taurus. I bought a new PT145 9/20/07 and right out of the box (no firing) the mags wouldn't feed. I call Taurus and they said they had a problem with the mags and to send them back and they would replace them. Here it is, 10/25, 4 phone calls later, and sorry on back order excuses, and I still haven't fire the gun yet.
Anyway, does anyone know where I can get good aftermarket PT145 Mags???
Thanks fellow shooters.

While I can't help you on finding mags, can you tell us what the issue is with the mags? How widespread was it?

Promag makes them, don't know how good they are though. I replaced the springs on my 24/7 Pro mags with Wolff springs for the Para-Ordnance P12.

Back to the Taurus mags. I talked to a customer service rep who wasn't all that sharp. However, they said it was a problem with weak springs. I asked to talk to someone with more knowledge and they said that someone (supervisor) was in a meeting. I guess us retired old silverbacks don't understand the importance of "meetings". GRIN

If It's just a matter of springs that's good to know. Wolffs will be the answer, possibly their plus tens if it's a matter of a weak spring.

BTW, I wonder if that meeting's subject was on how to increase the quantity/quality of communication with customers.

I had to clip a few coils to make them work. But it was worth the effort.
Better the shipping of my mags and wait for them to send me new ones that may or may not work.

I guess we should start calling Wolff and ask them to start making springs just for the 24/7 and Mill Pros.
