I've been looking at several firearms training facilities in the Western Arkansas/Eastern Oklahoma area. I would greatly appreciate it if someone who's familiar with the area could recommend a training facility. Specifically, I'm looking for basic to advanced pistol training (non-law enforcement) as well as a good ladies training course. I'm also thinking about checking out IDPA.

Here's what I found thus far:

Much appreciated!

I recently took my concealed carry class at US Shooting Academy. I thought that they had competent instructors and a good facility overall. Of course, I cannot compare them to anyone else as that is the only course that I have taken. My wife and I will likely take additional courses there in the future.

That's the best I can do - hope it's helpful.

I have been told by several individuals active in the local USPSA competitions that the TDSA training is one of, if not the, best in the region. I will definately be attending once I have the available funds.

Thanks for the feedback folks. I'll be contacting both organizations to feel them out. Based on this and other feedback I've received, it appears you can't go wrong with either.
