Anyone know what happened to Bear Creek Bullets? Thier web site (http://www.pathfindersports.com/p/pathfindersports/default.asp) is no longer there.I just bought from them a few month ago too. They were the cheapest bullets I found anywhere, and offered FREE SHIPPING on orders over $70! For my reloading purpses, they were great bullets.I found one other place hat sells them, but for more money, and they charge shipping. Is the comany out of business, or are they not selling direct anymore, or what? Anybody know? I'm really bummed.:(

:( Serious bummer, Bear Ceek and MasterBlasters are both closed down....so much for my super cheap cast bullets for general plinking...
They were BY FAR the cheapest for cheap plinking ammo.I just HATE to pay much more for ammo just to blast at paper fo fun.Now I may have to reload for precision more than savings just to justify the new added cost.Oh well, nothing wrong with reloading for precision, just was't really all that worried about tht aspect too much, I just want cheap plinking ammo for my mlsurps so they dont just end up sitting around collecing dust.Surplus ammo is getting awful pricey, and in some instances, hard to find.Darn China/India and the risng cost of lead...:cuss::banghead:
jibjab--yup, thats the 1 place I found that has Bear Creek bullets. Not NEARLY as cheap as getting it direct from Bear Creek theselves, and since they've shut down, Cliff's wont have them for long....

Start casting them yourself. If you thought reloading was fun, wait until you try bullet pouring.
And, I shoot .45 at about $0.04 a round because of casting. Doesn't get much cheaper than that.

Looks like a close out sale on Bear Creek Bullets.
I liked the Precision (http://precisionbullets.com/) bullets I tried. They appear to still be in buisness.

I just placed an order with Missouri Bullet Company (http://www.missouribullet.com/index.html). Brad has been casting since he was a teenager, and he's seen the elephant as they say. He tells you the Brinell hardness number, so you can match the bullet to your velocity/pressure. He's one of few that has a hard enough lead .38 bullet that you can push it to .357 magnum levels, 1200+fps, w/out leading. He has the same bullet in a softer lead for the 800-900 .38 Special levels. Give him a call. Just placed an order for 1500 bullets - 500 158 grain for about $22...not bad, from what I've seen. He's also now offering "sample paks" of 100 to try out.
Tell him I said "hi"

Precision Bullets is still in business. Billy bullets has moly, but don't take plastic and no free shipping.
