Did any of the early (1916) 20ga Model 12s have 2 3/4" chambers or was 2 1/2" the only option?

2 1/2 was the factory chokeing untill 1927 for the 20ga model 12 but a lot of the early guns have been opened to 2 3/4 by the factory or smiths...in order to do it right the front of the ejection port usually was also lengthened a little....this also takes the gun out of the collectable catagory
If you have one that is still 2 1/2in ...leave it that way...2 1/2in shells are easily available on line....
