anyone in the seattle area want to get to a range?

i go almost every sunday (only day off work) with my brother now that i got him to buy a XD9 to championship arms in kent. great indoor range for pistol calibers. great helpful people there and are not snoobish.

so if anyone in the area wants to swing buy and lye some lead we would be glad to have some more people.

Might be worth a day-trip to come up to the Kenmore Gun Range. They limit non-members to 100yds and one-at-a-time loading, but it's not too bad.

This Washington Dept. of Fish and Wildlife site lists ranges in the state, but I don't know how up to date it is.

Kenmore is great, but may be a bit far from Burien. Renton Fish and Game Club might be closer for you.

It's good to know there's a nice rifle range in the south end. Their non-member hours are not as restrictive as Kenmore, too.

Renton Fish & Game is a nice place to shoot shotgun, rifle and handguns. They do (like other ranges) limit rifle shooting to one round at a time. However, pistol-caliber rifles can be loaded-up and shot on the pistol range (not rapid fire, though).
