I just got two leather holsters for my guns for cc. Should you put any leather conditioner on them, or would that damage the finish on the gun?

DON'T DO IT!

Leather conditioner will soften the leather. Your molded leather holsters were formed to the shape of your guns and the conditioner will 'release' the leather so that they will no longer snugly grip your pistols.

Of course if you are using cheapo 'pouch' type holsters, it won't affect the leather any, and the conditoner shouldn't harm the guns. Conditioner on the gun may scortch and smoke if you shoot the gun though.

Just wipe down your holsters with a wet cloth and maybe use a bit of wax.

Do NOT put anything on a holster that will soften the leather; this includes pretty much anything advised as a "leather conditioner."

There are some products out there specifically marketed for the inside of holsters during the break-in process to aid a smooth draw.

A neutral paste wax is okay. All you should have to do to a holster is insure you don't have sand or any other gritty material inside (a small soft brush), gently wipe the outside of the holster down with soft cloth (old t-shirts, etc.).
