I am trying to find out some info on a barrel that I aquired, knight's armament and seems to be a 50 cal. that was mounted on a helicopter. NSN 1005/01294/9822 KAC 88112/10001

Have you got a picture? That NSN comes back to a flash suppressor that's mounted on some .50-calibre barrels ( http://www.fbodaily.com/archive/2003/03-March/13-Mar-2003/FBO-00276296.htm ).
