I just acquired a:

S&W .38 Special Model 15-3 with 4" Barrel - Serial # K8613XX

The gun is in 95-99% original condition except for the grips which have been changed.

Can someone help with a Year of Birth?

My best guess is +/- 1967, but that is just a deduction based on other guns found online.
