Good price. I'll be looking to get a 96FS INOX in the future.

They are black parts ie slide stop, safety, trigger and hammer. Look at the beretta website they got pictures of them. If you don't want black parts they do sell aftermarket parts. www.olhasso.com is a good site for aftermarket parts. Otherwise try the pawn shops and look for a good safe queen.

I just bought an unfired police trade in with silver controls. I don't know how to tell the date of manufacture on Berettas so I can't tell you when mine was made. I bought the 96 Inox in 1997-1998

Just gotta be in the right place at the right time

I tend to wander into fun shops alot. I was looking for a nice 92 to give to my son when he finishes Air Force basic training. I saw that 92 at my range. They had three of them traded in by the local PD. That one was never fired or issued. I went back two days latter and they were gone!
The following week that one was back :scrutiny: A guy put money down on it and when he came back to buy it, he came up dirty on his back ground check so they put it back up for sale.
And the rest was history! :)

Those codes don't make much sense :scrutiny:
I like Sigs codes better.

It's not determined by their registered serial numbers, but there are another set of smaller numbers, with A, B, C, etc., somewhere on those guns.

Those are the numbers that will tell ya when she was made, yr wise.
