OK, since apperently, Iam going to have to leave my beautiful 18 rd mags with the dealer, I am going to need to pick up some 10 rd mags for a CZ SP-01. What all mags are compatible with it? Can anyone recomend a good place to get them at good prices?

Also, I heard about a .40sw chambered P-01. Does anyone know about this? Is it available? Would the .22 kadet conversion kit fit on it?

The SP-01 is a full size gun that will use any mags that fit the full-size CZ 75Bs.

The P-01 is a compact, and if you get flush-fitting mags, they won't work in the full-size guns. (Too short.) Full-size mags can be used in the Compact guns, and you can get an extension piece, when mounted on that longer mag, that blends into the grip to make it look like a full-size grip when installed.

Any full-size CZ/ Tangfoglio mag (for the 75B or the older small-frame EAA, Tanfoglio, Baby Eagle, etc.) will work in the SP-01.

CZ factory .40 mags for will fit, but the feed lips are too wide to retain the rounds. Other .40 mags like those of the EAA line, will work, but they might not work as smoothly.

-------------

There us a new CZ-75B Compact in .40. There have been problems with mags for the compact .40 guns and the latest word I've heard is that the new mags are full-size.

-------------
For the 9mm guns:

If you can do more than 10-rounds, the Mec-Gar 16 rounders are fine and inexpensive. If you must stick to 10-rounds, look around for some used CZ 10-rounders, or have the dealer get you some. (Factory 10-rounders are too expensive.)

Check CDNN, as they sometimes have them at around $20 each.

Just curious, why do you have to leave the 18 rd. mags with the dealer?

Because I live in Nazi-fornia :( I am getting kind of depressed that now that I have found the perfect gun for me, apperently, they only make it in a 19 round version, so I have to pay full price and get no mags. Then I get to go spend another $70 on mags :(

I will check CDNN, but I have only been able to find the Promag mags for under $20 but I hear they suck.

That's unfortunate. It looks like your options are going to be pretty limited with the 10rd. mags. Here are a couple of places you can check in addition to CDNN. However, they all appear to be comparable on their prices.

The first two appear to be for compact guns. I'm not sure about the other two.
This isn't much better, but impactguns has factory 10 rd. for $29.

You could just check out the czforum or any other forum for used mags. IIRC, the lowest reasonable rate is about 12.50 - 15.00 each shipped.

That would be the P-06 - check this forum for more info: http://p201.ezboard.com/CLUB-P06/fczechpistols82792frm91

OK, a little bit different question, but similar topic. My shop has a CZ 97 (.45) Does anyone know if the .22 kadet kit will fit on it? If it does, I might just go with that so I can shoot cheap and powerful with the same gun.
