I'm so happy! I just bought a Steyr SPP on gunbroker, I should be getting it in a few days. I've always wanted one of these and I was finally in the position to buy one when I saw a deal. I payed $780 for a like new SPP with three 15 round magazines and manual. The price includes shipping. I think that is great deal, especially since they seem to be going up lately.

A place in Germany that always sells on Gunbroker has 30 round magazines for around $40, I think I'll buy a few of those.

Anyone have experience with these? Anything I should look out for?

I'm also looking for a leather shoulder holster that I know was made in limited quantities for this gun. Does anyone know where I can find one? If not I will settle for one of the original slings that attach to the back of the receiver and allow the sling to loop around one shoulder. Where can I find one of these or a replacement that is similar?

Only problem i can think of is a cop getting on your a$$ when he thinks your carrying a machine gun :D Should get the same reaction as, say, an SP89.

Anyway, with a mean looking pistol like that, you'll never have to fire a round in self defence ("HOLY SH*T! HE HAS AN UZI!" ::thugs run off::)

That's too funny! I want the shoulder holster simply for the collectibility and cool factor :) . Not that I ever plan on carrying the SPP, but it's cool to know you can :cool: .

If you could, please give us a range report on this gun. I was once very close to buying one myself and would like to know how it performs. Pretty cool. You'll definately attract a lot of attention at the range with that thing.

I will definately post some pictures and a range report as soon as I get the gun! I mailed out my money order and FFL info today so I should be getting the gun early next week. I've always wanted one of these guns, I still can't believe I will have one soon. I'm sure there will be many people asking to shoot my gun when I go to the range.
