I had my FNP-9 sent back to the factory a couple days ago, and I have no idea how long the turn around time is going to be, so I am wondering how long it usually takes.
Note: pistol is manufactured in the U.S.A. (VA)
Any experiences with FN or other manufacturers?

...Why not just call them an ask? I'm sure they'd have a better idea then we would, considering they at least know what other business they have stacked up, and what you asked them to fix.

I called them today, and they said I was looking at about 3 weeks.

I have sent two pistols four times back to Sigarms and they were always back in less than one week. It took four weeks to get one back from Kahr.

Three weeks is about right. The time varies with the load at the facility.

Kahr back in 3 weeks with a new barrel. Glock back in 6 weeks with a new frame. Marvel conversion replacement 2.5 months, in fairness I sent it in right before hunting season and the holidays which is a big deal in a small operation.

Sig - 2 weeks
Springfield - less than 2 weeks
Colt - 4 weeks
S&W - 3 weeks
Taurus - 6 months if you're lucky
FN is a great company and my dealings with them have been great. I purchased several FN weapons the last year and my FS2000 came without a manual in the box. I emailed them and 2 days later (express mail) I had one. I've been an active member of the FN forums and it seems when they send something off they get it back pretty quickly.
