I put the first blood on my new Alpine Archery Silverado Sabre. 85 pound doe at 30 yards. Complete pass through, double lung/heart and she ran about 75 yards into a thicket. Looked like somebody dumped buckets of red paint through the thicket. Euipment used was the new Alpine Archery Silverado Sabre, Muzzy 100 grain 3 blade broad head, Carbon Express Terminator Hunter carbon arrows, and Montana Black Gold Flash Point Sights (awesome sights). I love this bow. I would strongly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new bow. They will go out of their way to accomodate veterans on a tight budget.

I am not a bow hunter and know nothing about the equipment. Is that arrow unusually long? It looks to be as long as the deer is tall.

I guess it would be for alot of folks. It's 31 inches I believe. Maybe the angle too.
