View Full Version : Need Estimate for Used Gun

I've decided to sell my Glock 19.

It's stock (3rd/4th gen -- with the finger grooves), slightly used (less than 200 rounds), 2 mags, Meprolight 3-dot steel night sights (green).

What would be your estimated value range for this pistol? I'm overseas (no Barnes & Noble/Borders around here), and I'd rather not have to buy the Blue Book just for this one sale.

Thanks in advance.

The value of a used gun differs by up to 20% in different parts of the US alone, different countries have much bigger variations.
If guns are hard to come by but can be transferred on an existing permit, the value is higher than if you would have to apply for an individual permit to buy a gun specified by calibre and type.

Goto Gunbroker.com and see what they are actually selling for

Probably $450 from a dealer here in the U.S. since it does have Meprolight
night sights; otherwise, 'bout $375 would be topps~! :scrutiny: ;)

$400-450 with all that you list in excellent condition. They are just too popular to get more.

Good luck!

That would most definitely be priced at (the very least) $500 in the
consignment cabinet at my LGS.

I've decided to sell my Glock 19

Its been a while since the last time I read something that odd...

The night sights are a big plus. I would easily give you $400, if you have a few hi-caps and a good holster or two I would go $450.

Did anybody even read the post and noticed that he is not in the States????

I'm thinking, however, that there are few other places where there is an open market for such a pistol. If there is a bluebook which prices such items in something other than U.S. dollars, I'm not aware of it.

No, I am not in the States, but I'll be back home in about a year or so. (God, I can't wait to be back in the good ol' USA for good...)

I purchased this pistol while on leave in the States. It is not with me, but in storage State-side.

I will attempt to sell it, or trade it in, when I return home next year.

I just wanted to get a sense of what price range I should be working with.

Att: ForeginDude-

Contrary to what someone else thinks, YES I did realize that you were not in
the States when I made my post; that's how come I made this exert as a
reference:

"here in the U.S."

There is a 3 year old Gen 3 G19 at a local shop for over two months. They want $439 with only 1 10 round mag. No box, night sights or anything else. I bet it will still be there in a month.

I just purchased a G26 with less than 50 rounds through it for $400. It came with all original items. Box, mags, owners manual + Peirce grip extension X(2) a 17 round mag with a grip extension and a clip draw.

NIB Glocks go for $550 locally:D
