Are there any current rifles (preferably in bolt action) that take shorts, longs, and long rifles?

But there are plenty of lever guns that take them, some of very high quality. Marlin, Winchester, Browning . . . .

the magzine fed actions tend to be the sticky wicket

heres a tube fed Marlin that eats from the full 22lr buffet:

And its full length magazine holds 25 Short, 19 Long or 17 Long Rifle cartridges.

The current-production Winchester 9422 does not feed .22 Shorts. The barrel is marked .22 L and .22 LR, the manual has a disclaimer about not using .22 Shorts, and USRAC's web site has the same disclaimer.

Marlin's lever actions do chamber .22 Shorts, .22 Longs, and .22 LR.

I have no personal experience with bolt action .22's, but I suspect most of them could chamber all three cartridges. The only issue might be chamber erosion if an excessive number of .22 Shorts is fired followed by .22 Long or .22 LR. The longer case could swell into the eroded chamber area when fired and cause sticky extraction. I only use .22 LR and .22 CB Longs in my .22 LR-chambered firearms.

Gun-fucious is right. Tube magazine is the way to go with short rounds. My Marlin 60 semi-auto feeds short rounds fine if they are powerful enough to cycle the action. My 39A lever action feeds anything.

You could also go to Remington 572 pump, or the 552 auto..Both shoot the short, long and long rifle..I swear by my filedmaser..Fun gun.

just my two cents..

Be safe!

Since you've asked about bolt actions, I've fed shorts, longs and long rifles through several Marlin bolt actions, as well as an Anschutz action. Never had any problems.
Other than not functioning semi-auto actions, I've run them through 10/22's as well, usually by hand feeding them. Given the price of shorts and longs relative to bulk packed .22lr, they're not exactly rapid fire plinking fodder.
