I just acquired a Remington 141 in 32 Remington. Somewhere I heard 32 Winchester dies could be used for sizing 32 Remington brass. Is this correct?

Also, if any of you have any 32 Remington brass or dies you'd like to part with, please let me know.

No brass, but you're on the right track.

You'll need a different shell-holder for the rimless Remington case. The same shell holder for the new Remington 6.8mmSPC will work as it's based on the .30/.32Remington case.

Data for the .32WCF "Special" or .32Special will work also.

Really not a bad cartridge. Very close to the performance of the .30/30 w/170gr Bullets.

Best I can tell from Waters' and Donnelly's books, a case sized in a .32 Winchester Special die will have almost .040" excess headspace in a .32 Remington chamber. That is something you could accomodate if you were fireforming brass made by cutting the rims off .30-30 but not something do do every shot. Splurge on the right dies. Buffalo Arms has them and brass too. The brass is reformed, either they can get .30 Rem or they are cutting down .30-30.

I've got a Lee Loader in .32 Win Spec/.32 Rem. (Found it a gun show for $5.00) It states that not only the tools/dies are good for both .32 Win Spec and 32 Rem,, but also that the data is good for both .32 Win Spec and .32 Rem (the only difference between the two is that .32 Win Spec is rimmed and .32 Remington is rimless).

A Lee Loader only neck sizes and will not set the shoulder back as will a press; which is why they could offer the same tools for both.

A quick check of Evil-bay shows they have both a Lee Loader and a set of RCBS dies available.
