I seem to recall some hunting forums that had large sub-forums dedicated to African safaris. Anyone know where I could find them?

Yes, if you do some research on this forum you will find real African professional hunters, not armchair hunters. I found a lot of great info about safaris and hunting in general there. 375H&H here on the high road knows his stuff too.

The guys over on leverguns.com make a trip out here every year or so... not safaris in ye olde style but they have fun.
