So I found a box of 50 Speer Gold Dots for roughly $17....then I saw on gunbroker.com a box of 50 Speer Gold Dot LE Edition for $28.

Is there any difference between these two rounds? Bullet weight was the same (90gms).

Meh...maybe I'll just buy a case of Extreme Shock.

Oh lord, prepare for a total **** storm to come through. I even asked about the Extreme Shock rounds without interest and was torn a new one hahaha. Buy the standard Gold Dot, there's hardly any difference for the price.

I can't imagine any practical, tangible difference in quality or performance. And what American police use .380s? Perhaps in backup guns.

Use the price difference to buy more ammo. ;)

Why buy what is the second rated round anyway.

Corbon 80gr DPX is way ahead of the other rounds in every respect for the .380ACP.

Suggest you forget the GDs and get the DPX instead.

+1 for the DPX.
