S&W Model 46 or Baikal IZH 35?

ok, so I'm thinking about getting back into Bullseye Pistol in a big way, and have decided that in order to do so, I need a good .22.

As such, there seem to be two ways to go.
I know of a used S&W Model 46 that is for sale. It's well used, but in good condition. Asking price on it is $425. (My understanding is that the Model 46 was sort of a bargain version of the Model 41. The finish isn't quite as nice, and there are a couple of other minor differences.)
I've had a chance to shoot the pistol and it was quite accurate. All the flyers were my fault. ;)

The second way for me to go would be to order one of the Baikal .22 target pistols. I could probably save some cash this way and still have a very accurate pistol, though one that doesn't have all of the bells and whistles on it.

Any thoughts? What would be a good choice for a Bullseye shooter on a beer budget who has champagne tastes?

Plenty of bells and whistles on that Baikal. Great, adjustable trigger and anatomic grips, to name two.

More bells and whistles on the Baikal than on the S&W 46. I'd give Smith and Wesson a call to see if they still support the gun, it has been out of production for a long time, although M41 parts should work.
