I'm looking for a comfortable IWB holster, don't need to tuck my shirt. I am thinking about the Comp-tac MTAC, but the leather backing seems pretty big which kind of defeats the purpose of buying a small gun like the g26. Looks very stable though. For the belt I plan on a 1.5", 5-stitch Wilderness Instructor "original". Anyway there seem to be many holster available so can anyone who has already tried a few share some knowledge?

I've used CompTAC CTACs for all my guns. Also if you are comfortable with proper handling of your Glock, you may like the ClipDraw. I've used it before on my G26 and was very happy with it but I went back to the CTAC for training simplicity.

I have a Crossbreed Supertuck Deluxe, a MTAC from Comp-tac - and had the CTAC, but sold that one. If you are looking for comfort, then get the Crossbreed. The MTAC is not all bad - as it has interchangible shells for different guns. But this option makes the MTAC very stiff at the mounting points for the interchangible shells and it is thicker to allow for this option. Crossbreed is a simple made holster - but out of all the holsters I have had - the Crossbreed is the most comfortable - I think they come in around $60 +/- .

I've adopted the BearClaw Holsters 'Hidden Asset' as my sole choice for IWB after having owned kydex from five different kydex holster makers. Every bit of extra kydex is shaved off, the sides are smooth so it's comfortable, plus it's crafted instead of injection molded.

Dan Hillsman and RM Kydex are also worth looking at as top-notch custom kydex makers (also NOT injection molded).

Check out the c-tac for a good holster.
