If you are strong enough to pick up a Busa you don't need a gun. :D
Sorry about your bike, but on the bright side, now you can get a bike that can take a corner.

Damn. Glad you're ok man, I saw a dude wreck a Ninja on I-95 once. Not pretty at all, especially since he wasn't wearing leathers or a helmet. The bike can be rebuilt, at least.
But yea, no cash for guns for awhile does suck.

Ow! Ow!! Why is Japanese plastic so G-D expensive!!?? Hope it didn't get into the hard bits too.
Were you carrying? If so, did the firearm produce any damage to you? As I'm left-handed, my preferred method of carry is in the tank bag. Works for me as the bag is easily removable from the bike.

Wasn't carrying...was taking bike out around the block is all...Fairings are gonna be costly...and it seems to have bent something in the front end...this isn't gonna be cheap...will probably end up repainting the whole bike and going ahead with some performance mods...no guns for 6 months or so...and I'm not walking so good...knees are worse than I thought.
CD: How do you like the 08 Busa?

Hey. Just thought I'd ring in here. Really sorry to hear about the drop! I ride an R6, and it just hurts so much seeing your bike lying on its side!! Hang in there.

At least you are in one piece. Those wrecks age you fast.
When I totaled my old Vulcan I kept thinking "My bike! My Bike!" didn't even
notice I was bleeding till it was pointed out to me.
You may not be able to buy anymore guns for a while but you can get better
acquainted with what you already have.

in 83 or 84 my brother was riding a Sabre (?), and while making a left turn in to redstone arsenal in Huntsville, AL he was broadsided by a 63 international pickup truck. Witnesses said he flew through the air along with his bike, Found him and the bike 180 ft down the road. When I got to Huntsville, the Dr told me not to expect him to live through the night, I went into the ICU and had a tremendous feeling of peace, told the Dr I'd be back cause he was gonna need my help for a while. 45 days in traction and he was out of the hospital (on day 46 he was painting a 57 Chevy).
The bike was not so lucky, and the only reason he lived (besides God wanted him to) was he did not buy a cheap helmet, remember this was in 83/84, he was wearing an Ari (not sure of the spelling) helmet. I have seen helmets that you could hit with a small hammer and they would crack and bust apart but this one had a 4 in scratch and maybe 1/2 that size was actually cracked.
Please all you guy's that ride, please be careful and wear proper equipment.

Sorry guys. Motorcycles are off topic, as much as I like them. Try APS, upper right on the main page.
