National Bullet ...VERY BAD SERVICE

I got very bad service from National Bullet Co. in Willowick, Ohio. Check out all the complaints they got on the Better Business Boru Web. Sight. I will never deal with them again.:fire:

What happened exactly? Never dealt with before, but have thought about.

Don't do it. They have my brass since June, no ammo yet. Said bullets were on backorder. I sent to Mastercast in PA. and got ammo in 5 days. Check them out. GOOD service, ammo, and price.

Do a search on National Bullet. You will find that people have been having a lot of problems with them for at least the last year or more.

Edit: Haywood, are you sending them your brass and having them load it? If so why not learn to load yourself?

I will post my experiences from earlier this year.

I had ordered 1000 of one of their copperized bullets. Waited almost a month and contacted them about the status of my order twice over that period of time. Every time it was a prompt email or courteous phone call and was told it will be shipping next week. So after a few more weeks of that I had them substitute 1500 lead bullets for the plated. Got them promptly, shot them, good stuff.

I don't believe they mean to screw anyone, however, not worth the wait and hassle when there are other reliable sources. Steer clear.

My experience: I had 1000 of the copperized bullets on order. I waited six weeks and emailed them. The email was returned and it explained that the lead time would be as much as 10 weeks. I gave it the ten weeks but then I started reading about others having problems. I sent him a polite email explaining that I was aware of his problems and did not want to add to them. I gave him a list of items off his website that he could substitute for the bullet order I placed. I would up getting 1000 SWC's and 100 pieces of .44 Mag brass. This put me out a little ahead and saved the whole refund dance and argument that would have ensued. I received the package two days after the deal was struck. My take is that he is having problems getting the copperized bullets produced (finding a reliable plater) but does not want to stop taking orders. This is bad business and he has PO'd enough people to the point where his business has suffered. Not my problem but I was happy to get at least I got my money's worth.
