If anyone knows who to contact to find out more about upcoming DCM/CMP (i.e. Garand) matches within reasonable driving distance of Southern Illinois or the St. Louis area, please let me know. I need to get qualified for CMP so I can pick up a Garand. Have never done that and think it's about time.

The Benchrest Club of St Louis - which does all sorts of shooting as well as benchrest - does not appear to have any highpower matches scheduled for the remainder of this year. Somebody there might be able to tell you where you could go in the area.

Have you checked at www.odcmp.com under their "competitions" section?They have a list of all upcoming CMP matches.
