Yesterday at 7 oclock in north western nebraska i just got done gutting my deer. I had to run down and get in front of him and he was the one that surprised me. He decided to take off and i predicted a wrong move and he went the other way as i shot and missed. By this time he was on a dead sprint and i dropped him running away from me. It was unfortunetly a white tail(but a deer is a deer) 4 by 4 with a 17 inch spand. I was excited and was on a time limit so usuallys shoot 1st deer i see so this was good. In a couple of days i will upload pics. Any other Nebraska success???

Congrats on your deer. Alway nice to have antlers on the wall and meat in the freezer.

The rancher that we have been going to for the last 15 years decided to not allow hunting anymore. It has been a sad weekend for me. I sure miss the pine ridge area and dead horse road in particular.
