And gun cabinet (hey, firearms related, the thread is begging you not to close it). You guys are kings of "a place for everything and everything in its place." I'm often amazed at the speed with which things get moved or locked. Good job!

Maybe you could hire one or two of them to watch your 6 in parking lots, too. :)

How much do you tip a Moderator?? Is it the same as a chamber-maide; which is usually a couple of bucks?

 :p :D

Well, my normal tip for one moderator is "Dammit, you're shooting over the birds again!" :D

... and that's why I need to get an over-under shotgun because I am constantly shooting over or under, never dead on! I'm still trying to convince the range management to let me use a .22 rifle. Traffic on I66 be damned!

I'm still up for getting out to Bull Run and taking a class, Mal, but Herb is still out of service with his back.

:D That by far IS the best reason I have ever heard to purchase an O/U :D

I can't wait to hear why one needs a SXS :D

Didn't mean to butt in...That is priceless !!!

My vote for going into the Hall of Fame for quotes.

Well, you know what it will come down to...

The upper barrel will shoot over, the lower barrel will shoot under, and the next thing you know Mal will have a O/U with THREE barrels!

That middle one is JUST right! :D

Mike,
Your the history guy, didn't someone make a 3 bbl shotgun ? [Mal perks up-listening ] Or was it just a spoof like a "jackalope" ?

I know "duct tape" a SXS to an O/U...hey one might not have enough lead ...up, down ,right or left...that ought to cover it.

(psst, Mal I 'll send some shells I forgot to put shot in...for 20-25 years these have shown up in the darndest places...clays, ducks, dove ,quail,...loads, still amazes me to this day) :D

Hey-I believe in " style points"...Hey Steve missed--"yep...but sure was a purdy miss".

"Didn't someone make a 3-barreled shotgun."

Yep, mainly in Europe.

Not only 3 barrel, but 4 barrel, as well. Some had barrels all the same gauge, others had mixed gauge barrels.

I distinctly remember an article on these shotguns from American Rifleman back in the early to mid 1970s.

I've got all of my back issues at home now, so I'll have to leaf through them to see if I can find it.

Drilling ?

Was that one of the 3 bbl ?

(for a bit while lurking...and your username "appeared" and welcomed me back...tech thingy going on...this came to me...now that I'm me again, I'm back being dumb)

Your one of the "go to people" and I for one would be interested and appreciative if time allowed and you started a thread.

Thanks
