Due to getting gifted with a Mossy 500 in 20 with a pistol grip, I'm looking for something to feed it with - Looked at Bass Pro and at Galyans, and didn't find any buck - would prefer #4 over 00 - anyone know where I can find it?

20 gauge buck lacks the wide variety of 12 gauge. Most is #3 buck, with a smattering of 2.

And trust me on this, get a real stock for that nice little 29 and pitch the PG. A lightweight shotgun like the 20 gauge 500, heavy loads and a PG are a fast intro into the world of pain.

And, NO ONE can shoot a PG as well as they can with a standard stock. Anyone disagreeing with that is welcome to prove same. Bring money....

Heh - haven't shot this one yet... Used to have a PG 12 gauge. The first round I fired out of it was a 3" magnum buck load. Talk about a world'o'hurt... It was up with a friend's .44 mag loads, which coupled with a relatively light gun equal a "shoot/don't shoot" decision in itself...

Gonna find a real stock eventually.

Used to carry a lot of 20 #3 buckshot at Galyan's when I was there (but that was when dirt was young)??? Complain to the department head, he'll write it down (at least we used to).
