I was just about to order one of these (they're on sale) when I looked at the catalog and saw that it said the competition master had a three-inch chamber. This seems extremely unlikely to me, since the whole point of the 11-87 was the three inch chamber, and all other 1100s were listed as 2 3/4. But I don't want to get stuck with an anomaly. The dealer called Remington to check and a lady said yes, it was a three inch. I still don't believe it. She was probably looking at the same info we were. Anyone have any physical experience with these?
