Just saw the movie "Hannibal" on cabel. What kind of knife was it that Lector used on the Detective? Some sort of Spyderco? Did it change from scene to scene?

Spyderco Harpy...ooooyeaaa!!! I'm reading the book right now. Read the book...it's 100% better than the movie. In the book, it says he uses a Harpy on the pickpocket and detective in Italy. Later when he comes to America, he buys a Spyderco Civilian, another Harpy and a "4" straight bladed serrated Spyderco" (sounds like a Police). And he buys a crossbow.

Yeah, Hannibal used a Harpy. I have one and it is a nifty piece. What was the knife Starling had, though? I was watching my DVD copy the other night and even used freeze-frame, but couldn't ID it. It is in the scene where she goes to Mason Verger's farm to rescue Hannibal. He is tied to a forklift and tells her that things would go faster if she gave him the knife. It is some kind of taktikewl folder w/ tanto blade and polymer handle. Maybe a Benchmade?
Anywho, the book is 90000 times better than the movie. Changing the book's happy ending for that gawd-awful Hollywood ending is a sin for which Ridley Scott and everyone else involved should be flogged with a tabasco-soaked rattan. BTW, there is an alternate ending on the DVD. It sucked too
edited to add: Julianne Moore was excellent as the older, cynical Starling. She also looked fantastic in that black gown at the end of the movie.
