Does anybody make a lever action rifle (or carbine) in .45 ACP?
(Or in any pistol calibers other than .38/.357 and .44, for that matter).

It could be done with a rotating magazine, I suppose. But I don't think the .45 ACP won't give you much more performance out of a long barrel. The .45 Colt, .44 Mag, and even .357 can be cranked up and almost turn into completely new cartridges when fired from a levergun. Some .44 Mag loads are on par with full-sized rifle cartridges when fired from a levergun.

The way that most lever guns are designed means they'll only work with rimmed calibers, thats why all the pistol cal lever guns are in wheelgun calibers...

I always thought it would be fun to have a 45 auto rim/45 colt lever rifle.
Inspired by the joy of a lever gun with 22 shorts, "The never ending magazine" as my friend and I called it.
