love all the chris reeve 1 piece fixed blade knives. want a mark VI or shadow IV myself. read (from hso?) that the perfectly round handle can move around and rotate some in the grip, then again ive read other comments where it was just fine, and actually needs to wear down a bit to not be so grippy. will probably get one at some point...

Have an older South African Jereboam II with hex buttcap. The knurling on the grip is pretty aggressive and sharp. I saw one time in a knife book a CR machete along the lines of a Jereboam or Shadow (larger grip diameter it appeared too). One of these days I'm hopefully going to have them build one for me. 22"/24" blade IIRC, grip appeared to be of bastard length.
