I have a .35 Remington semi with a 'built-in' magazine.
Questions are;
1) can the magazine be removed (EASILY !!!) ??
and
1) are there any higher capacity magazines available for this
rifle (yes I KNOW the recoil is - shall we say BRUTAL !!)
Thanks in advance for any help

What model rifle?
There have been a number of semi-autos by Remington, and one or two semi-autos in .35 Rem. by other manufacturers.

Model 8 or Model 81 recoil operated?
The magazine is as you say, semi-permanent. Removable in disassembly but not really a detachable magazine.
The Police Equipment Corporation used to make 10 shot magazines for them. Some if not all their receivers were also notched for stripper clips - odd sizes for the Remington caseheads. Unfortunately, I would expect a 10 shot mag and a supply of stripper clips would cost more than the gun itself, assuming you could find them.
