They have had quite a lot of business from me and today ........ a bit more!

OK, this is ''only'' a Taurus but ... have hankered after a .454 Casull for some while. It's used but has very good lock up and this is quite a tough gun .. good solid double cyl locking - and trigger not too bad tho room for improvement.

Has a Bushnell long eye relief 2-6x with 30mm objective..... and tho initial cross hair aquisition a tad critical ... sight pic is good. Now just need to buy (save for!!!) some ammo .... wooh is that ever expensive .. so gotta plan too to get some dies and load my own.

Anyone shoot this cal and .... what about lighter loads in 45 Long Colt in this gun?

Sorry .... not the crispest of shots ..... must reshoot but also reflections difficult here too.

I'm not a fan of scoped revolvers, but it should make a good backup for a .454 Casull levergun when you're in that famous "bear country". :)

I'll bet it's alot easier to hang onto shooting full power loads than most guns with those rubber grips.

.45 colt is less punishing, but doesn't seem to be as accurate in the Raging Bull.
Low power (Pardon the expression.) loads for the .454 are where it's at.
I'm sure that you could find something as accurate as factory loads if you did a little trial and error.
