In the locked thread,

http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31258 ,

Cordex has posted a link. My attempts to use the link yield surprising results. I am told I am denied access because I am either not logged on to the forum or am attempting to edit a post not my own. Neither is true. Is the link disabled, as I suspect? If so, I, for one, would appreciate a more accurate and informative notice. If the link is not disabled, perhaps it could be fixed.

Edited to add: It finally dawned on me that the link may be to a thread which has been removed. This, too, could be better explained by the denial of access notice, if that is the case.

Your supposition is correct. The thread was removed after it had served its purpose, hence the link was no longer valid. The subject of the thread was to ask the general membership to refrain from any additional threads on WMD and/or speculations about the war in Iraq.
