im tempted since i love the look of the M19 snub more than most revolvers out there, im quite tempted to grind down the full underbarrel lug on my 2'' 686 and sending it to robar to be blackened.

i dont want to sell it and buy a M19 since i already have this and i know it works well. ;)

so, anyone ever blackened their stainless guns? looks like robar will do it for about $130.

Do you carry this firearm is such a matter that it attracts attention?
I did a ceramic coating on my S&W 642 due to its showing up in my pocket when viewed from above.
I had tried black tape on the stock, only worked for a couple of weeks.
What is your reason to change the color of you firearm?
