My question is...... How many of you guys carry a "Lady Smith"? I am about to get a S&W 36 Lady Smith. I like the little .38, my friends are laughing at me due to it's a "Lady Smith". From what I can tell it's really no different from a regular S&W 36 other than it has "Lady Smith" on the side. I am going to call it my "girl friend" and I have named it Darlene. I was just wondering if other guys here pack "Lady Smiths".

I"ve got no problem with it. My wife referres to my guns and my Charger as other women, and she wishes I would talk and read about her for hours on a forum too! lol. You want a Lady Smith......Do it.

The LadySmith package included:

Two coils off the rebound-slide spring for a slightly lighter trigger stroke.
Fancy (Dymondwood?), skinny factory grips.
LadySmith laser-etched on the side.
A locking case before S&W promised Bill & Hillary to include them with every handgun they sold.

If it bothers you, you can polish it out fairly easily since they're only laser engraved.
