Harrisburg, PA - The state House Judiciary Committee rejected two gun-control measures despite Gov. Rendell's in-person appeal. One bill would have limited most handgun buys to one per month; the other would have empowered local governments to enact their own gun-control laws. Legislators tabled a third bill to require owners to promptly report lost or stolen guns.
Congratulations to Pennsylvanians ! Allowing local governments to trump the Bill of Rights is a Major Mistake.
