I don't own any Glocks but, I think I read, or heard, something about a Glock that can easily switch back and forth between the 40 S&W and 9mm by simply switching barrels and magazines. Is this correct? If so, which model? Or, was I hallucinating?

Yep,it's that easy. Lone Wolf makes 9mm conversion barrels for most,if not all,Glocks in .40 S&W.

You can switch any 40 S&W or 357 SIG Glock down to 9mm, but not a 9mm up to the others, with just a bbl & mag swap. However, most folks switch in a 9mm extractor for maximum reliability.
