The HK P2000 is due out ths month supposedly, the Keltec P-3AT is already out, one or two fortunate souls already have them.

I remember going through all this with the Walther P22, and going back further, the SiG P239, Walther P99 etc etc etc.

It really bugs me because I KNOW that the first time I see either of these 2 new "must have" guns will be about a year from now.

I have patience for anything, except waiting.

Gun companies like o generate demand well in advance of the actual release of any new product. Once they can figure out the demand, they can figure out how large a first run to produce & more importantly how high a price the market can bear...:rolleyes:

after reading a few gun rags on the p2000 im sorta looking into one myself. and cant wait to get to pull a few rounds though one to really making my mind up on it.

as for the p-3at....dad is still waiting for his gift of one from me. once i heard a 380 in that size....promised him one. maybe that was a mistake :D

Never been a fan of KelTecs and I have to immediate need for the P2000. I'll wait and get one on the used market when everyone with one trades it off for the sub model. :p Besiodes there a few ahead of it on my "gotta get list" I do completely understand the waiting thing. I waited a LONG time to get a P7M8 to live at my house. Sometimes its waiting for the release of a model and sometimes it just saving for one. Either way, waiting is NOT a fun thing sometimes.

The P2000 and P2000k are really only modifications of the USP so it's not all that big a deal. If you want a real HK get a P7. As for release dates I'm still waiting for my Camillus Dominator," scheduled for May release " Has any one heard if HK has picked a USA manufacturing site yet ?

I too had my eyes on the P2000, but it's a little too expensive for me.

But here's the good news, you can already get a P2000 if you really want one. There's a distributor/exporter in Germany who is selling P2000's already. Their website is http://www.kaehny.de/export/export.htm . Last time I checked the P2000 was around $800 or so, with 2 pre-ban mags :rolleyes: (whatever, as long as theyre not marked like Glock mags then you should be ok).

Hope this helps some of you who want to get your hands on a P2000 now. Now I expect a full range report :) .
