Hello everyone. This is my first time posting here. Has anyone had any dealings with Smith and Wesson scopes? I have a chance to purchase one, and i just want to know if they are junk or great or something in between. Thanks, and i hope i like it here. I have heard good things.

No personal experiance, but I'm guessing "something in between".
But for the prices they are asking, they better be "great"!

rc, i have an opportunity to buy one very reasonable. its a 6-24x44 with ao and fully multi-coated optics. I just don't know if i should try it or not.

I don't think they make them anymore. So a warranty would be impossible. But maybe it's worth the investment. I would like to talk to someone who has or has had one. Can you still buy them online somewhere RCmodel? If so, where?

This place appears to sell them:
http://www.gunaccessories.com/SWOptics/RifleScopes.asp

But S&W website no longer shows them, and none of the big optics places I checked sell them any longer.

Might be an orphan now.
