My friend Matt and I went shooting at my home made range behind my house for thanksgiving. We're thankful for our guns so it seemed appropriate. We got some pics, and I got a chance to play with a gun thats new to me. I think I will buy one of these SW40 Sigma's here soon. I found a used one locally for $200 including all original paperwork and two mags in the original box. If you have any experience with them LMK. I like the way it shot, it felt like any other plastic gun to me really, and a fraction of the price. We also shot my newly accessorized 10/22, my P228, my fathers Ruger Blackhawk in .45LC, my SP101 .357, my dad's .44 mag carbine, and my Rem 870. Lots of fun, and got some cool pics. We weren't really taking it seriously, mainly making up marksman games with old shot shells and whatnot, haha.

The only gun that jammed on us AT ALL was the 10/22, and only after about 1k rds through it. None of the handguns jammed, ev4r.

Very nice collection you got going there and looks like you guys had some fun!

I wish I had range in my backyeard, you lucky dog!

FYI don't put your index finder up in front of the trigger guard like that, I see a lot of my students do that and I always wonder where they picked up that habit. Anyway keep it under the trigger guard and you'll control the recoil better and allow for a faster more accurate follow-up shot:)

If that's you in the pic above that's how your grip should be and good job;)

That was in fact me. I notice that sometimes I do it and sometimes I don't. I think it just depends how I grab my gun from my holster, or the bed of the truck, not sure really why I do it. Thanks for the advice though, I'll work on it. I know for a little while a few weeks ago I was shooting left, and I got it worked out I think, I didn't do it at all yesterday.

Excellent pics!

I love taking photos of range "sessions". They'll always be there for you to enjoy and share with others. I often look back at photos of seemingly simple things - such as shooting - that I took about ten years ago or more. You'd be surprised how valuable those photos become.

Just be sure you back the files up.

Again, very nice pics...

If anyone is in the area and would like to join us sometime you are more than welcome! We had safety glasses, but weren't using them the whole time.
