I was having some fun over at gunsamerica/yahoo and ran across one of these. So, who uses a Bernadelli?

If not one of these, what about the P-One? What caliber do you use?

Probably no one outside Europe.

I've never seen a Bernardelli pistol at any match I've been to, in over ten years of competitive shooting.

I've seen one or two of their shotguns floating around.

I had a PO-18 about a year ago and it was truly a sub-standard firearm. Finish was good, fit could have been better, but worst of all, the single action trigger was defective right out of the box. There was a built in trigger stop at the rear of the trigger and the stop was to large/long. The stop hit the frame before the sear could release. So the pistol basically could not fire in SA.

Th PO-18 I had was about the same size as a Beretta 92, but the 92 is far superior in every respect as far as I am concerned.

I sent it back for a full refund.

Well, that could be a useful bit of info. I was admiring the spiffy-ness of the P-One and thinking about an aquisition. Looks like when it comes to the 'B's I will stick to Browning and Beretta. But they are good looking guns...

I looked hard at a PO-18 some time ago. It was tempting, but as I messed with it, I realized the trigger return was sluggish and I did not want to get into something like that.

Many years ago I had one of these fine little guns. Mine had the tri white dot adjustable rear sights and it did shoot GOOD! Accurate enough to plink blackbirds at 50 feet. Reliable as that heavy, clunky Ruger Marksman I had at the same time too. Wish I could find another one in good shape....
