Anybody know a source for these?

I know Federal has discontinued their Nyclad line, but my S&W 342PD happens to like these better, in terms of accuracy, than any other single load I've tried, and I've tried just about every .38 Special and .357 Magnum load out there.

Thanks.

This is from the S&W Forum:

For those that live near St. Louis, GRAF's in St. Charles is closing out Federal 125 grain +P Nyclad hollow-points at $9/box of 50. I think this is the discontinued ammo that some rave about.

There were a lot more 125s produced than the 158+P nyclad hollowpoint. The latter are scarce. They may be accurate in your gun, but I can assure you, based on multiple tests I've read about they won't expand out of a 2" - 3" tube.

The velocity is the typical sucky Federal "you call THAT a plus P!?" squibload, that's why they're accurate . Velocity is WAY down over Winchester or Remington's lead version, and there's just no excuse for that other than Federal "wimps out" way too often.

Federal has discontinued their Nyclad line, because agencies are not buying them.

The agencies aren't buying them, IMO, because there are better choices out there.

The Winchester 158 grain, +P, LSWCHP is my choice. It's not hard to find, and it's accurate in the M638 and M66.
