my hands were too small to comfortably handle the thick double stack of the nite hawg. real shame, too. I REALLY wanted to like this gun. loved the one single stack para i handled. LDA trigger is super sweet.

after reading Rcellis post, i may have to go look at the lite hawg if it's indeed a single stack.

I liked mine well enough - but the double-stacked grip on the standard Night Hawg made it kind of 'top heavy' in the holster.

I found it easy to shoot and quite accurate - mine was reliable as well.

But in the end my guns are for carry and the Night Hawg was not getting carried very often. Besides, the standard 1911 manual of arms is quite different from my typical carry - DA/SA a la SIG and HK. Then again, I sometimes carry my Para Covert Carry LDA, which for me is a nearly perfect accommodation to reality.

Off the top of my head, isn't the Lite Hawg a single-stack? That would be a good carry gun for in-holster balance, accepting that you're trained in the 1911.
