was watching the local North Alabama news tonight,had a bank robbery,FBI needs our help,yada,yada,yada,now the good stuff.the bad guys carried "sub machine weapons". don't know if it's a new weapon,or if the news caster just couldn't stand to say the word "gun".she is a transplanted " Yankee"so gun may be a 4 letter word. jwr

I believe they think that "weapon" sounds more dramatic than a mere "gun" - and they just end up sounding ignorant, as always :rolleyes:

A friend brought his new Tech Nine over for me to take a look at. He asked "are the sights were supposed to be that way?"
I looked it over and saw that the rear sight was where it was supposed to be but the front sight was rotated about thirty degrees to the left of center.:uhoh:
No wonder gang bangers shoot sideways, that way they aren't distracted by those crappy sights.
