The UN Declaration of Human Rights very deliberately having no Right to Self Defense.

Just thought I'd throw these out for comment.
Thanks.

the UN wants to feed all the starving and bring peace and justice to the world :(

like them both. now, the second one......the scuffed toes ( perhaps from kicking people? ) very effective. if i may: try the lower right statement in the same font as the upper ( no caps~ stay subtle) and shrink the UN symbol somewhat thus not covering his hand so much. The UN covering the hand is meaningful...just not so much of it. I like your work muchly, keep them coming

Thank you for your replies. That's my hand under those old East German officers boots, no one else here to run the camera, so I do a LOT of timer work!
I'll look at that, Claude, gotta see if I saved the original.

Biker, who is "Slim"?

They are very good at slaughtering unarmed folks (Srebrenica) and raping little girls (Darfur), however.

The first is good, the second is excellent! I would only suggest not using drop-shadow on the text. Use heavier font if you want to emphasize the letters.

indeed...

And there's no error in being alert, educated, and strong in defense of one's country. It is the highest good for many generations to come and we should be alert and educated. There is no error in being suspicious, even if events turn out to be otherwise. On this one, however, it is stated written implied and explicit, we are actually late on the timetable of disarmament according to the United Nations. That derned 'gun culture' again...

Wow, I missed that too, and that's my work desktop wallpaper! Oops...have to see if I saved the original image.
Anyone wants a t-shirt, copy and print, I give permission to use to anyone, especially if you correct the spelling!

The boss let me use MS Paint to edit this - I have an awesome LT. Cheapie edit.

I wonder how a lower case 'f' would look. "oF" vs "of". that one there kind of stands out too much.

If you don't want to sell this on your own, I will get a few iron on things for myself. They seem to be permanent.

Nice work, but the second pic would be more effective if they were Military type boots (jack boots) instead of cowboy work boots.

armoredman
November 30, 2007, 09:32 AM
Jamis, they are East German Army Officer's boots, actual issued communist jackboots, not cowboy boots. Bought them years ago from Sportsman's Guide for dirty work in the back acre, which is where the wear comes from. Pebble finish, because they're field boots, so I can't get the high polish jackboot look.
Jdude, be my guest. I do this for the fun of it. I am also a terrible businessman. Re edited, BTW.

I've got a pair of Civil War style Calvary officers (cavalier) thigh high boots that I borrowed from a guy to use as part of a costume. The kind that have fold down tops that can be raised to cover the knee. Never could get used to wearing them though. Horsemen's boots have too high a heel for me.

Good work on those images.

I use GIMP. Its a freeware substitute for Photoshop. Easy to download and install with user contributed plug ins.
Heres a Tin Type I made with it. This is the cast of our "Roswell 1847" sci fi comedy.

Heres the GIMP site if anyone wants to try it out, its a very good free program.

Thanks for the post "Armoredman."

I am hoping that some NYC officer will post some day and second the motion that we should evict the bloodsucking, USA hating, conspiratory, nest of spies

Roswell, I was sent the link to GIMP yesterday, haven't downloaded it yet. I use the free Picture It! Express from WalMart and Microsoft Paint to edit with right now. Have to go back and forth between the two for some effects. I'll give GIMP a try, thanks. I appreciate the kind words from all. :)
