:)Well I hope a bunch of you read this, and whoever does read this particular post, please make sure to reply even with just a smiley to keep the thread at the top for awhile to thank StreamLight.

The decision about the flashlights that I was going to buy to put into a Soldiers' Christmas/ Holiday package, for which I have been collecting donations, has been made for me. (see the upper right hand corner of my blog (http://ballseyesboomers.blogspot.com/) for more info on the Soliders' Christmas/Holiday package Donations) I will not have to spend a penny of the collected donations on the lights. Today I received an email from Mrs. Angel DelliGatti, the Inside Sales manager for Streamlight. Much to my wonderful surprise, Mrs. DelliGatti and Streamlight have decided to send me one dozen tactical flashlights for absolutely no charge for inclusion in the package! They chose the model and I will not argue with them. It looks to be a very good light to me. It is the STREAMLIGHT NIGHT FIGHTER 2 (http://www.streamlight.com/product/product.aspx?pid=31).

I just found out about their generous offer today, and I had to contact them by email just to make sure I was not misreading their offer to me. Once they confirmed that I had read it right, they had the lights out within an hour. Yes they have already mailed them to me. Wow - what a great company, and what a nice person must be Mrs. Angel DelliGatti.

Now I don't know about you, but I think that was one heck of a generous and very nice gesture on their part at STREAMLIGHT. I also think that Mrs. DelliGatti lives up to her first name and indeed is an Angel. Because of this really nice donation by STREAMLIGHT, which was worked out by Mrs. DelliGatti, I will be able to use the monetary donations I have received toward other gifts to go into the Soldiers' Christmas/Holiday package. It is going to be one heck of a nice package because of STREAMLIGHT and because of those who have made donations. think of the difference that is goiung to make to these soldiers.

I hope I am not being to whatever by making this suggestion; but if you are considering buying a flashlight for someone for the holidays, or if you need a tactical light for a firearm, please give STREAMLIGHT serious consideration. I have used some of their products before and liked them, but even if I had not used them before I would have to give them a good nod for their generous donation. For more on their donation see: http://ballseyesboomers.blogspot.com/2007/11/generosity-almost-beyond-my-belief.html

All the best,
Glenn B:)

As a capitalist American, it makes me proud to see a company exhibit generosity and goodwill. Many out there would not do so since they can't understand how such a generous move can provide valuable promotional opportunities. As a capitalist, I will support those companies that have more emotion than greed. Two thumbs up to Streamlight!

This is such good PR. I've been buying Hoyle cards ever since my squad leader told me about the 2 boxes they sent him while he was deployed on Desert Storm. Small investment that's well worth it.

That's a great thing for them to do. Did you hear back from Surefire?

Surefire, Microlon (Gun Juice), and Cold Steel has done the same for my packages for troops.

Streamlight is a good company that makes great lights. I've owned one for a few years now and never had a problem with it. They are worth the couple extra bucks you would spend on an inferior product. Very nice of them to make the donation and you to put it all together.

Good for Streamlight!

Funny, I was researching which light to get for the money. Doing a search on this forum and finding this, has made my decision for me. Good for you Streamlight, and i'll buy one of your weapon lights this week!

They chose the model and I will not argue with them. It looks to be a very good light to me. It is the STREAMLIGHT NIGHT FIGHTER 2.
It's an excellent light, and is the one that lies next to my pistol in my nightstand drawer. I also use it when running yo-yo lines for catfish at night. It's too bright to believe the price on them. And there is a cheaper model that uses the same bulb/reflector, only it has a rubber handle rather than the knurled metal one. it's called the Scorpion. The fact that Streamlight opted to give you the Nightfighter 2's rather than the cheaper Scorpions says something about the company as well.

;) Streamlight rules !

They have a history of good works. They have sold lights to our volunteer SAR group for wholesale prices.

Energizer sent us a coupon for $2 off a pack of batteries. :(
