Hi Guys/Gals; I recently picked up a plain barrel for a 1200 Win. and am thinking about shortening it (19", give or take) for a "bedroom gun". I would also like to install slug sights if it doesn't turn into a major ordeal. I realize "major ordeal" is relative to one's skill level, mine isn't particularly high, but I have built a few rifles and tinkered with others with pretty good sucess. Any suggestions on how to go about this or whether just to "fuggedaboudit"?
