Seattle, WA Get-Together?

So, anyone else live in the Seattle area? More specifically Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, ...?

I'm thinking of putting together some kind of outing. You know, a "you shoot my guns, I shoot yours" kind of deal?

I'd love to get to know some of the members here on THR a little better, and what better way than a shoot 'n share?

Gravis, there have been a couple but usually during the late spring or summer because the weather is so terrible. There was a post about getting together at a range down in Auburn or something like that otherwise keep tabs.

Going to a good outdoor plinking place would be fun, but they're getting a bit scarce on this side of the mountains. Which would explain the WA-state get-together that is usually done around Yakima.

Wish I could be there. I used to live on the Plateau (by Pine Lake) for 11 years but moved back here 9 years ago. It took years for my wife to stop moaning about "why did we leave Washington?" :(

I'm thinking Feb. or Mar. As for location, I was thinking of a local outdoor range, but if anyone knows of a better place, like some field somewhere, that would probably be better.

I didn't really give it much thought or planning, just kinda throwing the idea out there.

There's a good outdoor spot off of I90 exit 42 before Snoqualmie Pass. But it's probably under three feet of snow at the moment.

More info would be appreciated; these types of places West of the mountains are getting hard to find.

Thanks!

Hi all;
Corpsman from Pierce County here. There is an excellent range in Eatonville that has a 550 yard public welcome range. The fees are very reasonable. They want 24 hours advance notice. This is about 40 minutes south of Seattle. I am also in the very early stages of trying to organize an Appleseed Shoot in the Puget Sound Area. Looking for someone with functional private land or will have to go with a range.

Please post info here as this comes together. It is easier to keep track of an existing thread than to try to find a new topic.

Thank you!

I have a meeting in Auburn on 19 January. Meeting starts at 17:00, so I could have some time to make noise before that. Indoor pistol sounds fun. It takes me a good 4 hours to get there from here.
